Hello Earthlings!
Thanks for dropping by! This platform is an open letter to my love for nature, forests, and all things flora, to bring about a curiosity and instilling an interest in these life-giving beings that are always in the background.

ABOUT ME
Glad to find you here! I am Shraddha, a conservationist. Growing up, I had a strong inclination to all things wild and artistic. Being an Army kid, we moved around a lot. I remember, in one of the postings, waking up at sunrise to accompany my father as he put out water and seeds for the birds, showing me how to respectfully share their space with them. Our fuse boxes always had beehives in them, our garden full of earthworms and butterflies and come monsoons, our driveway was so inundated with frogs and toads that we couldn't even walk up to our house, in case we accidentally stepped on them.
Over the years I have become acutely aware of how the places I had grown to care for, that felt like home, were being impacted by pollution, climate change and mindless exploitation. The more you read up, the more you try to grasp the scale of things, it's so easy to feel small and powerless.
I believe conservation begins at home. It'll be enough if we leave the natural world to itself and not disturb it. Observe our surroundings, educate ourself and become aware, understand how the web of life works and act accordingly.
A friend once said, "Humans tend to disappoint you, but nature never does".
With that, I hope you feel home and be a part of my journey.
